The problem is that Microsoft cannot verify your license. If you are not actively studying with us, your account goes to a limited license that does not allow editing in downloaded apps.

I should be licensed.

There are a couple of solutions for this:

• Make sure you have an internet connection so a new license can be downloaded to your computer.
• Make sure you're using your college account.
• Sign out and shut down all office apps, then sign in again.

Reinstall the Office apps

1. Go to Programs in the finder, select all Office apps, and put them in the Trash.
2. Go to https://office.du.se and download a new setup.
3. Open the setup file and start the installation.
4. Finally, sign in again and try editing.
